Shoumikigen is the last single from Onyanko Club, a hugely popular Idol group from the 80s. It was recorded when few of the members came together for a reunion in 2002. Shoumikigen also means "best to eat by this date". Any interpretations?
This single is really special as it shows that the ladies still can sing even though on average they were in mid 30s at that time. It is pretty interesting to see how idols turn out to be when they grow out older. Onyanko is a very good benchmark you can use when analysing futures for current idols e.g. MM, AKB48 and so on.
